Lavender Mini Sessions | The G Sisters
Mini sessions like this one at Bywater Hollow Lavender Farm are perfect for updated photos of your kids! A twenty-minute session is plenty of time to capture siblings together and separately.
Don’t these little girls look so pretty in their matching white dresses?! Mom did a good job! (And their cowgirl boots were adorable, too.)
Mom jumped in front of the camera for a few pictures with her girls. We’ll get dad in the mix next time.
This is, perhaps, my very favorite image from this mini session.
You might think this moment just happened and I was lucky enough to capture it, but the truth is, it was completely directed by me. I placed the girls in the lavender field and said to the older sister, “You’re going to pretend you’re walking through the lavender field, and when I say, I want you to look back at your sister and reach for her hand and then keep walking slowly as you hold onto her hand.”
The light, the shadows, the connection between two sisters — just beautiful.
